A relaxing B&B escape.
The Tree is open throughout the week from Monday evening to Friday morning for a relaxing B&B escape. It’s your “home from home”, so leave your stresses and worries behind, and enjoy the peaceful, friendly atmosphere.
The eight bedrooms in our main house include a range of twins and doubles, plus one triple, and have been beautifully decorated in a relaxing style for a cosy, and restful feel. Most of the rooms are en-suite, while others have their own private bathroom just across the hall. Each room has a fantastic view across either side of the beautiful Rosedale Valley. B&B is priced at £65 per person per night (based on a minimum of a 2 night stay).
Good food and conversation
Breakfast is served in our light and airy dining room, which also benefits from gorgeous views of the valley. Mealtimes at The Tree are a sociable and friendly time where everyone eats at the long banquet table, getting to know one another and enjoying good conversations.
Typical breakfasts include cereal, fresh fruit, yogurts, toast, a selection of jams and free range eggs – plus, of course, the option of our full cooked vegetarian breakfast. Everything is made with fresh ingredients, plenty of care and attention and with a lot of love stirred in!
For guests who are booked on our midweek B&B option, there are plenty of wonderful local restaurants to dine out in during the evening. However, if you prefer to stay in, we are more than happy for people to bring their own snacks or food to heat up in our Chapel kitchen. We just request that the food is vegetarian. You are very welcome to sit at the dining table or enjoy a picnic in the garden and use whatever crockery you need.
Your stay, your way
Your stay at The Tree is all about your needs, whether you just want to enjoy a bit of quiet time or explore the local moorlands on foot or by bike. For those who want to chill out and relax, our living room is the perfect place to while away a few hours, snuggled up on our comfy sofa in front of the big open fireplace, reading one of our many books. We also recommend trying out our sauna, hot tub and Zen Chi Massager Bed or even a private Yoga session when available. However if you fancy doing something more adventurous, there are plenty of local trails to explore. From a gentle stroll down to Rosedale Abbey to an invigorating hike up Rosedale Chimney Bank, we can give you tips, advice and route maps.
What to wear?
We want our guests to feel relaxed and at ease at The Tree, so please wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. Tracksuits, jeans and comfy clothing are fine – even for mealtimes. All towels are supplied, but please bring a dressing gown if you are planning to book a treatment. Alternatively you can hire one for £5. A swimming costume and flip flops are a good idea when using the sauna and/or hot tub. Lastly, don’t forget to bring your wellies or walking boots if you fancy going out for a hike over the moors!
Please call us on 01751 417219 to book your stay!
We hope to be able to welcome you here soon.
